What data do we process and why?
We process the names, contact details and information in messages and attachments that you provide to us to respond to enquiries, handle sizing and quotation requests, and manage customer matters.
We process business contacts’ personal data on the basis of our legitimate interest in handling customer enquiries. Where a private individual requests a quotation for their own contract, processing is based on taking steps at their request before entering into a contract.
Providing your data is voluntary, but we need sufficient contact details to respond. Please provide only the personal data needed to handle your enquiry.
Retention and service providers
Routine enquiries are deleted once the matter has been resolved and the messages are no longer needed for related follow-up. If an enquiry leads to a contract, necessary information is also retained to perform that contract and to meet related legal obligations and address legal claims.
Our email service is provided by Domainkeskus, which processes data to deliver the service. According to Domainkeskus’s data processing terms, customer data stored on its servers and backups are located in the EU, unless otherwise specified in the service description or a separate agreement.
Your rights
You may request access to and rectification of your personal data and, where the legal conditions are met, its erasure, restriction of processing or data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation.
Send requests to info@hydrocell.fi. You may also lodge a complaint with the Finnish Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman.
